Extended Hands Ministries was founded by Albert & Elvira Enns in August of 1996.
About Albert:
Born in Carman, Manitoba on October 08, 1951
– Raised and Educated in Carman
– In 1966 went trucking with his father as a driver.
– In 1971 met Elvira at Manhatten Beach Camp in Ninette, Manitoba
– Married on November 18, 1972 in Morden Pentecostal Church
– January 01, 1973 went into business with his father and brother in a successful trucking business
– Easter 1984 suffer two heart attacks within 5 days
– May 1984 made a commitment to believe in Jesus as Lord and Saviour
– June 1984 Resigned from partnership in the trucking business
– October 1984 moved to Boissevain to be in the Esso Retail Business
– July 1985 received Baptism of the Holy Spirit
– From 1984 – 1988 grew in faith and developed leadership qualities, teen leader, Full Gospel Businessmen”s Fellowship Chapter and deacon of the local church.
– Fall of 1988 moved to Edmonton to attend Northwest Bible School
– Spring of 1989 moved to Calgary, purchased a truck & trailer to support Elvira through university
– Spring of 1994 moved back to Edmonton to finish Theological Training
– Fall of 1994 till spring of 1996 was an assistant pastor in a church plant just outside of Edmonton
– Spring of 1996 graduated from Bible College
– July of 1996 went to Romania on a short term missions trip and received the call to go to Romania
– August of 1996 established charitable organization Extended Hands Ministries
– October 1996 arrived in Romania to begin the work

About Elvira:
Born in Morden, Manitoba May 06, 1955
– Raised in the Morden area and educated in Morden
-In 1971 met Albert at Manhatten Beach Camp in Ninette, Manitoba
– Married on November 18, 1972 in Morden Pentecostal Church
– Moved to Carberry, Manitoba where Albert was in business
– Between 1974 & 1975 had two children, Karl our son & Shauna our daughter
– Spring of 1978 rededicated her life to Christ
– Fall of 1984 moved to Boissevain to assist Albert in the Esso business
– Fall of 1988 moved to Edmonton to attend Northwest Bible College
– Fall of 1989 moved to Calgary to continue education to achieve Bachelor Degree of Nursing
– Spring of 1994 graduated from university
– Summer of 1994 – Spring 1996 moved to Edmonton to work as a nurse to put Albert through Bible College
– Fall of 1996 moved to Romania to begin the call on her life of being a missionary nurse.
